(12th June, 2012, Hong Kong) After a month-long realignment process that saw the Aspire Aviation brand along with its “where aspirations take flight” being temporarily dropped, Aspire Aviation is going to be relaunched with immediate effect that not only inherits our core values, which are to provide qualitative, balanced and insightful analysis, but also with innovative new features that will further enhance our readers’ experience.
“In the twenty-first century where information is becoming more and more readily available and the world is becoming hyper-connected, we are compelled to take our highly-regarded qualitative analysis to the next level,” Daniel Tsang, Aspire Aviation‘s founder and chief analyst, said.
The centrepiece of the relaunch is our new website, which has a mobile web version that provides our readers with the best aviation industry intelligence whenever they want, wherever they want, as well as the newsletter and subscriber centre functions.
New Contemporary Website
Aspire Aviation‘s new website incorporates the latest design concepts that bear user-friendliness in mind, while featuring numerous elements that symbolise Aspire Aviation‘s innovative culture.
For instance, the new website features a “Back To Top” arrow button which automatically appears when the page is scrolled down. This feature is particularly useful for reading Aspire Aviation‘s signature long analysis.
The new website will continue to feature a slider gallery in our homepage, with the added functionality of a content box that illustrates the slides and a prominent display of our slogan “where aspirations take flight” above the slider gallery.
In addition, the universal footer further enhances our social media profile with Twitter feed and all other relevant social media channels such as Facebook, Flickr, Google+ and RSS feed.
“The new design of our website is meant to further improve the reader experience while enjoying Aspire Aviation‘s signature industry coverage that is well-regarded and of high-quality that is unique. We want our readers to enjoy every part of the Aspire experience and the new website will help us achieve this goal,” Tsang added.
Mobile Web
As the number of users of smartphones and tablet computers proliferate, Aspire Aviation strives to be the innovative leader enabling our readers to obtain the information they want while on the go.
Aspire Aviation‘s Mobile Web features the elegant design that is also found on our main website and will automatically adapt to the screen width of every reader’s device.
Moreover, the navigation bar of our Mobile Web will automatically adapt to the screen as well, displaying a drop-down box when your device is held in a vertical upright position, while displaying a complete navigation menu when the device is held in the horizontal position.
Readers can also log in to our Subscribers Centre (see below) using our Mobile Web, thereby fulfilling our vision of enabling our readers to stay connected on multiple platforms, such as Apple Inc’s iPhone, iPad, or Google Android-powered smartphones and tablet computers.
Subscribers Centre & Newsletter
Meanwhile, Aspire Aviation is also introducing the Subscribers Centre to our readers, where they can manage their profiles, preferences and join the discussions on our analyses.
In a drive to foster discussions and make the process simpler, we will be requiring all readers wishing to leave a comment to register for a free account at Aspire Aviation.
In doing so, instead of waiting for a couple of hours or half a day for your comment to be moderated and reviewed by our administrator before appearing on the site, your comment will now automatically appear on our site without any delay, once the registration process is complete and your free user account is approved by Aspire Aviation.
Please note that Aspire Aviation usually approves your registration right away, but we do retain the rights to deny any registration which we believe contains alias and misconstrued information, a rare occurrence in itself.
Furthermore, readers will be able to opt in for our free Newsletter during the registration process, thereby delivering an integrated product from Aspire Aviation directly to your e-mail inbox as new analysis is published.
Existing Subscribers
For our existing subscribers who receive e-mail alerts via the Google Feedburner service, you will be automatically added to our Free Newsletter.
However, our existing subscribers are advised and encouraged to register for a free account at Aspire Aviation in order to fully use our website’s functionality, both the newly added ones and upcoming ones in the future.
“While Aspire Aviation has worked hard over the past several weeks to study at options aimed at improving our reader experience and while we’re introducing these changes, one thing will never change – the qualitative long analysis that our readers value, want, the very reason they come to Aspire Aviation,” Tsang emphasised.
“As Aspire Aviation continues to innovate and will undoubtedly develop new products in the future, our new website, Mobile Web, Subscribers Centre will provide us the best platform to do so, all the while bringing unique, qualitative and insightful to our readers across various platforms – laptops, iPhones, iPads, Androids, whenever they want, wherever they want,” Tsang commented.
